Nkandla Report
''BRING BACK THE MONEY".

Nkandla is a serious issue especially in parliament, the public wants to know when is the president going to start paying back the money that he used for his estate home called 'Nkandla". of which he still havent' said  anything about when is he going to pay back the money. even though I feel that  there is no necessity for our president to pay back  the money, He has done what anyone one would have done if they had the power to rule. After all he is  a president and deserves to stay in a decent home. There must be a different between the leader and the followers. of which it is visible for our president. Social media has a big influence in our lives because people are able to engage and share opinions about this matter.

The ANC has claimed that the actual cost of work done to president Jacob Zuma`s nkandla homestead is R71 Million,  and not R208 Million that the minister of public works Thulas Nxesi had revealed during a postcabinent  briefing in November.
on the report that was delivered by Thuli Madonsela it is said that the final cost of nkandla are conservatively estimated to amount to R246 million, but is escalated rapidly after Zuma`s private architect, Minenhle Makhanya was appointed by the department of public works.Jacob Zuma is expected to pay   for the non -security upgrades at his home, which include ; a visitors center, an amphitheater, a swimming pool, a cattle kraal, a chicken run and extensive paving.

It was also said that our late former president Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela built his kraal at his own expense and didn't require a "fire pool".I also feel that it was his choice no one stopped him from using the money therefore people should be real to themselves and stop comparing.
President Jacob Zuma

I'm not saying it is right to utilize the state`s money, but our president did what any other political leader would have done.people are using the money issue to create bad publicity for president Jacob Zuma.

It is also justified by the department saying that it was urgent that private works had already started , for security reasons and that only one supplier could supply the particular service required. still there were delays over which Zuma himself complained in march 2010. The national key points act was "inexplicably dragged in" halfway through the nkandla report building (2010) then its provision were not to apply his mind when he declared nkandla a national key point.

President Jacob Zuma`s say on bringing back the money
Jacob Zuma says no questions on nkandla should be allowed until the parliamentary ad hoc committee set up to discuss the public protector's report has made a finding. He further alludes that if he was a speaker, he would not have allowed the question from EFF on nkandla.
He than agrees that an inter-ministerial committee, the special investigating unit (SLU) and public protector have investigated the R246 million upgrades at his home. He also mansioned that Thuli Madonsela public protector did find that his family unduly benefited.
He concludes by saying the issue of nkandla is being used by parties for political gain.

how does inkandla looks like in reality.

    2. I partly agree with you on that but that is his mistake, everyone does make mistake as it was said on the city press that apparently our president wasn't aware of the additional maintenance at his homestead so this means not everything during the procedure was communicated because if he knew I don't think he would agree to it.

  2. No,No, if Mr President is a leader like you say he is then we need to be his first priority he cant build a mission for his family and you still live in a shack for the past I don't how many years...it makes no sense that he doesn't answer the question because when Julius Malemas House and cars were repossessioned he payed and is still paying without question so Mr President also needs to acknowledge his issue so we can move on

  5. Not everyone, i believe that a leader with good leadership skills will never do what Mr president did. even though Thabo Mbeki didnt do what Zuma did to us not, to mention Nelson Mandela . even though they did steal from us. what Zuma did is far more way beyond

  10. Yes,I totally agree with you when you say our president needs to stay in a decent house, that is true but he can not use the country's money to do that,if he is using the country's money then what is he doing with his own money?I think the best way to forget about this whole thing is that the president must pay back the money.

  11. our president will pay the money, he never denied on paying it back the problem here is he was unaware that some of the maintenance upgrade are from the estate money so however I think he is waiting for a balance statement which will indicate how much he owes hence he can not pay all the money.I believe that 70% of the money was his than the rest is our money which he needs to pay.

  14. the only mistake that our government made was to allow the country to have many political parties for example look how eff disrespect the leading party how do you expect the citizen to respect him while member of the parliament do the opposite yes he was wrong by using so much money to build his own property but it not like he didn't use his salary come on people

  15. Fact is money was stolen from taxpayers and MR. president must indeed pay back the money. we should stop making excuses and tolerating such behaviors as it is dragging South Africa to the ground.
