What if you have Ebola?
Ebola is an infectious and generally fatal disease marked by fever and serve internal bleeding, spreading through contact with infected body fluids. The virus is transmitted to people from serious disease which has claimed more than 100 lives. we need to be very careful of this disease because people from other countries can simply come here to South Africa and spread the disease. so no country is 100% safe at the moment.
Social media has the power to influence  hence we normally get quick updates from social networks, it is important to subscribe to two or more social networks in order to get fresh news.Hence Ebola is spreading so fast, it is important for people to engage  and  know what is happening in the world they live in, of which the quickest way to get updated news is through social media hence the other electronic medium takes time to publish  news.

How to prevent Ebola
  • Wash your hands frequently : Use soap and water or use alcohol if soap and water aren't available. It is essential to wash your hands frequently because they get exposed to almost everything.
  • Avoid contact with infected people : Avoid contact with the people`s fluids and body Tissues including blood, vaginal secretion and saliva. "you can get Ebola through kissing".  which is very true, I remember I had something like a ball under my tongue which the doctors could not explain what it is. imagine if it was a serious disease? many people would have been infected because I would have probably gotten it from somewhere and pass it to other people.so kissing is like exchanging bacteria s if it was up to me I would advice people to abstain from kissing.
  • Avoid bush meat : Avoid buying or eating wild animals
  • stay away from dead people hence their body remains contagious
  • Follow infection-control procedures : If you are a health care worker, wear protective clothing  such as gloves ,masks, gowns and eye shields. keep infected people isolated from others.
we are not 100% safe but following this ways can make us prevent Ebola. they normally say "prevention is better than cure". so we need to be on the watch out.

  7. @ Lawrence yes the disease has long been there but it wasn't as viral as it is today reason being the chances of getting affected were very slim but now someone who is affected can easy travel from one country to another and pass on the disease.
